NG-SOS API Documentation

Everything needed to integrate with NG-SOS, the next-generation emergency calling and crisis management platform.

Integration overview

NG-SOS integration consists of two complementary parts:

  • NG-SOS API → Partner calls NG-SOS
  • NG-SOS Connector → NG-SOS calls Partner
  • Together, they form a bidirectional integration enabling near real-time data exchange.

NG-SOS API (Inbound)

The NG-SOS API is our server-side API that integration partners use to access NG-SOS capabilities.
Through this API, a partner system can, for example:

  • Create and manage incidents
  • Request collaboration
  • Exchange operational and contextual emergency data

In this direction, the partner system acts as a client, calling NG-SOS endpoints.

NG-SOS Connector (Outbound)

The NG-SOS Connector integration has two parts: NG-SOS Publisher, the NG-SOS service that sends incident data, and NG-SOS Webhooks v3, the current contract implemented by the integration partner. The historical PSAP Connector v1/v2 contracts remain available for existing integrations.

Technically, this is a set of webhooks exposed by the partner system. NG-SOS Publisher sends events and updates to these endpoints using the defined data formats and contracts.

The NG-SOS Connector overview explains the rename from PSAP Connector and links to v1, v2, v3 and PEMEA.

In this direction, NG-SOS acts as the client, pushing data to the partner system.
